I turned 15 last june and I couldn't write it here because I have a lot of problems with my connection to internet...
so you know what do the families do here in Mexico when a girl turns 15?? they make her a big party with a cake with five layers and they make her wear a fluffy dress of the same color of the cake... ¬_¬U a nightmare!
but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and I had to pretend happiness and joy anyway so I only resigned to the idea.
The only good thing of my birthday was that I got a wii and a new pair of tennis...
And the worst part was that I had to dance in front of all my friends and relatives with my dad and my brother...
The same week of that charade of a GREAT birthday I had to participate in a contest of knowledge because my teachers forced me... I didn't won anything, it's not like I have studied anyway I wasn't in mood for a contest. The same week the school give us the government examination (a test made by the educational whatever). The part of science was easy, I was reading a book of biology, phisycs and chemistry and somehow I memorized some of the chapters.
I graduated from middle school (secundaria, I don't know the name in english u_u) and started high school. Must say that is not that boring because I can go to classes or not go as I want. I made some friends, meet new people, learnt new things...
The teachers already know me. Something really annoying when I don't want to go to their class. They call me Laura... but I am CLAUDIA. Ugh
I have a new best friend, no, the first best friend I have ever had: Sandra. She's somewhat like me, really lonely, calm, silent. But her social skills are better than mine.
We're always together in school and I pair up with her in the exams of pairs in subjects such as chemistry and math. We laugh a lot a talk nonsense in the exams but we always get good grades in them.
Two months ago my old middle school called to the house. Apparently I had the highest score of the state of the technical middle schools in the government examination last june. In my country there are three tipes of middle schools: private, general and technical. They told me there would be a breakfast with the governor of the state and the other high scores in a place named "salon governadores" in government palace the next week.
I went, they took us photos, someone make an interview for tv. They give us fruit and some strange food. I think they were eggs, but I didn't eat them. There was a bug in the plate and in the others kids plate there were bugs to. I found it funny to imagine how they got there in a place so sophisticated. LOL
There were 154 kids with ages between 8 to 15 years and I thought they were going to interview all of them, but they only interviewed one guy from private school, one girl from general school, one girl from rural zone and a kid form primary school... oh and me... bad luck of mine...
The governer stood there smiling eventhough the fact of his scandal being completely discovered recently. Scandal? you may ask, but it was a secret completely known by the citizens... well he separated from his wife and started (or continued) a romance with a young... boy?
I met a girl in the breakfast, really pretty. Blonde and with big blue eyes. At first sight I thought she was some annoying girl from a private school. I was completely wrong. She was from Cadereyta, a rural zone of the state. That surprised me a lot. I was being somewhat irrational...
after my hasty and wrong conclusions I talked to her. She told me about her favorite places, her favorite subjects, her pet, her relatives... a good talk for a breakfast.
They gift us a computer, and getting home I tried it. It had some strange operative system: instead of buying the license of windows for the 154 computers the government gift to 153 kids excited for the kindness they just saved money. They configurated UBUNTU. I don't have anything against the alternative operative systems, it's just that it's awesome to see how the government keeps being niggard.
I instaled windows and now I am writing this...the story of the last 6 months U_U
Last night I went to watch a movie: "rudo y cursi" it's about soccer and there appears diego luna y gael garcia... but in the cuts before the movie started appeared an advertisement of the government of the state. They showed the new infraestructure built, the streets, and a lot of people smiling, they also played the annoying characteristic jingle. But in some part of the end they talk about the "154 computers well equiped" and my face and other kids faces can be seen for 3 or 4 seconds. I felt completely false 'cause in that lapse of time I keep smiling to.
